Abstract

Electropolishing rate with 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 mol phosphoric acid concentration are measured by the current limiting feature of anodic dissolution. The corrosion rates are calculated both in the existence and unavailability of different acids belonging to carboxyl family. Inhibitor types and their concentration form the basis of corrosion rate. Increase in the range from 1.43% to 71.43 % of organic additive depending on the concentration of compounds reduces the corrosion rate. Isotherm of Langmuir and Flory- Huggins is verified by the compounds. Report on parameters of thermodynamics is provided.
